Pears, Lemon, Red Pepper and Pine Nuts
Serves 4-6
Ingredients
4 pears, peeled, pitted and halved
1/4 cup pine nuts, toasted
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Place the pine nuts on a baking sheet and bake for approximately 8 minutes. Remove from the oven.
Put the pear halves on a platter or individual plates and drizzle with lemon juice. Sprinkle sugar, salt, red pepper flakes and pine nuts over the top.
