Roasted Garlic Cloves with Fresh Thyme and Sea Salt

Makes 35-45 cloves
These roasted garlic cloves are delicious served alongside grilled chicken or spread on crusty bread.

Ingredients
  

  • 35-45 garlic cloves peeled
  • 6-7 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • Sea salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  • Add the garlic cloves to a baking dish. Top with the thyme and drizzle the olive oil over the top. Sprinkle with sea salt, place in the oven, and cook for 50 minutes.
  • Remove the garlic from the oven and discard the thyme. Transfer the garlic and the olive oil to a small serving dish and use. If not using right away, store in a small jar in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
