Brussels Sprouts with Orange Blossom Honey and Orange Zest
Orange blossom honey from my local farmers’ market adds flavor to this simple and delicious recipe! Serves 2-4
Ingredients
- 1 pound Brussels sprouts , trimmed and halved
- Zest from 1 orange
- 1 tablespoon orange blossom honey
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the brussels sprouts, cut side down, to the pan, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 5-6 minutes. Turn them over and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Remove from the heat.
- Transfer the brussels sprouts to a medium bowl. Add the honey and orange zest and toss gently to combine.
- Transfer to a serving platter or individual plates. Serve immediately.
