Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the brussels sprouts, cut side down, to the pan, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 5-6 minutes. Turn them over and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Remove from the heat.
Transfer the brussels sprouts to a medium bowl. Add the honey and orange zest and toss gently to combine.
Transfer to a serving platter or individual plates. Serve immediately.
